Privacy Policy

Short version: Rushle is a single-page browser game built by a solo founder. We collect as little data as possible, store most of it on your own device, and never sell it.
What we store on your device
Your game progress, daily streak, best times, run history, hint count, and player name (if you set one) are all kept in your browser’s localStorage. Clearing your browser data removes them. We don’t sync these to our servers.
What we collect on our servers
- Anonymous analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure usage (page views, button clicks, puzzle completions). No name, email, or precise location is collected. You can opt out by enabling “Do Not Track” or by blocking GA at the browser level.
- Subscription data. If you subscribe to Rushle+ via Stripe, Stripe handles your payment. We receive your email address and subscription status (active/cancelled), which we store to deliver your benefits and let you manage your subscription. We never see or store your card details — that lives with Stripe.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard request logs for a short period for security and debugging.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your data to anyone.
- Use third-party advertising or tracking pixels beyond Google Analytics.
- Email you marketing without you opting in.
Third parties
The services we rely on each have their own privacy practices:
- Stripe — payment processing for Rushle+.
- Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics.
- Netlify — hosting and request logs.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of any data we hold about you by emailing hello@rushle.io. To delete on-device data yourself, clear your browser’s site data for rushle.io. To cancel Rushle+, open Settings → Manage Rushle+, or email us.
Children
Rushle is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy meaningfully, we’ll update the date at the top and, for material changes affecting subscribers, email you.
