Is Rushle free?
Yes. No app, no account, no ads. Open rushle.io and play.
Is it just 26 Wordles at once?
Not quite, and this is the part most people miss. In Wordle every guess is aimed at one word and gives yellow tiles. In Rushle every guess hits all 26 words at the same time, and a letter only shows up where it sits in the exact same spot. There are no yellows. When a word fills in, it clears and its letters spread into other words, which can clear them too. That chain reaction is the game.
Why didn't my letter show up? I know it's in that word.
Because it isn't in that exact spot. Rushle only shows a letter where the hidden word has that same letter in that same position. Example: guess CRANE against the hidden word TRAIN and only the R and A show. The N stays hidden because TRAIN's N is 5th, not 4th.
Why did I lose a miss when letters showed up?
A guess is only free if it clears at least one word. If it shows some letters but finishes nothing, it costs 1 of your 10 misses. Early on that's fine, you're spreading letters around. Later, go for guesses that finish words.
How many misses do I get?
10 on the daily board. The bar under your stats counts them down. In Rush Mode misses don't end the game, they cost 5 seconds each.
What does the letter at the start of each row mean?
It's the first letter of that row's hidden word. Row A's word starts with A, row B's with B, and so on.
Can I get Wordle-style clues?
Yes, on one word at a time. Tap a row to aim at it, and your next guess shows clues on that row: a pink letter is in that word but in a different spot, a dim letter isn't in it.
When does a new puzzle come out?
Every day at midnight, your local time. Everyone gets the same board. Weekdays are 5-letter words, Saturdays are 4-letter words, and Sundays are a big 6-letter board.
What is Rush Mode?
A 3-minute sprint with endless boards. Clear as many words as you can. Misses cost 5 seconds instead of ending the run. Pick 4, 5 or 6 letters. Everyone gets the same Rush boards that day.
How do leaderboards and friends boards work?
Finish the daily and pick a name to get on the world board. To play with friends, open the leaderboard, start a friends board, and send the link. Everyone who opens it joins, and it shows your group's scores every day. You can roll a random name or type your own, and names are filtered.
Can I make a board for someone?
Yes. Tap the plus button, pick 26 words (names work too), add a title like Happy Birthday Sam, and send the link.
Where are past puzzles?
Classic mode, the original one-word-at-a-time Rushle, has its own archive. Play Classic from the link at the bottom of the game.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, in your browser on the device you play on. If you switch devices it doesn't carry over. The leaderboard only stores the name you pick, your score, and a random player ID. No email, no account.
